Hi guys and gals.

A little while ago I posted a thread which showed a wonderful and dear Les voorhies blade undergoing a transformation from the darkside.

I was using fires of hell patterning and trying to get the best out of it.

Well now the knife is finished, there is no sheath, but i hope the knife speaks for itself and falls in taste for at least some of you here.

Before

this shows the knife about half way through, patterning starting to show but in need of more layering, final sand and oil.

And after ( the fire is lit i hope!)

And the paterning goes right over the top too.

Hope you like.

As always comments welcome good or bad.

Thansks for reading.

Fantastic Dave,
But do me a favour, owing to the proximity of the damned adverts, I cant read the name of the wood you used, any chance of repeating it in a short reply?
