I have collected various cabin plans for years. Most of the plans in my collections are by famous Finnish architects and they date from 1930s to 1950s. Some of them are made out of logs and some from lumber.
Plans for the cabin made for the Marshal of Finland, Carl Gustaf Emil Mannerheim, in 1942. @sa-kuva.fi, #104353. The area the cabin occupies is 125 square meters. The roof is lined with layers of roofing felt, boughs, and peat. The floor is made out of two inch tongue-and-groove boards.
I obtained a copy of a really good 70 years old Finnish book dealing with hands-on-approach to log cabin building. PM me if you need tips regarding cabin building.
