Hi I am new to the site and was looking for a little bit of advice.
I am looking at heading off for a little bit of wild camping and was thinking of heading up to Finnarts Bay and possibly over to Great Cumbrae. The idea is to throw a tent in the back of the car, some bare essentials and the fishing rods. I would ideally like to have the tent quite close to the car and as close to a beach as possible.
I have seen a few posts on various forums about Finnarts Bay (both good and bad). I was wondering if it would be possible to get the car down or are there boulders preventing this?
Also are there any good spots over on Cumbrae to head to?
