Finally Finished Bushy.

Probably one of the ugliest knives you've seen, but i like it! Dyed birdseye maple scales, bright red liners, massive pins, 3.5mm 01 steel with scandi grind, 5mm veg tanned dangler sheath.

Any comments will be appreciated.

The pins are 8mm stainless, with 12mm brass collars( stolen from an industrial circuit breaker). The stainless pins are through the blade blank and the brass is just through the wood. I like trying something a little out of the ordinary, call it artistic license!

What do you use to dye the scales ?

It's actually Japanese green ink, rubbed back to give a mottled almost marble effect then soaked in Danish oil.
A bit experimental but it came out quite nice.
