Found what looked like a very far dead and gone raptor of some sort, this was a tail feather.. anybody any idea what it could have been?

If you post the Flickr address, I might be able to help....I use Flickr and it's the endings that screw things up for posting.

If I can't, we'll pester an Admin :D

I can't see it as a linked image either. When I opened your post I was able to get the link, which I have pasted back so others can follow, but it doesn't really solve the problem.
The issue is that you have set Privacy to Private, and Copy Right to All Rights Reserved. Both prevent me from being able to get the BBCode link, but the former prevents the image from showing in the forum. The link you tried to paste in allows people with the link to see the image if they follow it to Flikr.
I like that we have so much control over how we present our pictures on Flikr, but I can see how it could be troublesome when you are figuring it out and really want something that you can upload with a single "Just Do It!" button ;)

Go back and change privacy to Public and then try getting the BBCode link. :D

As for what it belonged to, you got me there. I have spent half an hour looking at photos of feathers and am no closer to figuring out what it came from. Think I have it narrowed down to hawks rather than owls, but there can be variation within species, and with just one feather which is either from the tail, or maybe somewhere near the tail...:banghead: :lmao:
