I'm not too fussed as long as I'm out.

Waking up in the hammock to silence from an overnight snowfall is pretty special, climbing a mountain on a clear summers day for panoramic views as far as the eye can see also ticks the boxes for me. Autumn is good for the foraging but can be fairly wild as far as the weather goes, a cool crisp autumn morning in a beech forest or evening sunset on a Scottish west coast beach is a sight to behold.

I like to be out all year round I think, there's always something that makes that time of year special for one reason or another.

They are all great but the summer gives me the most headaches with bugs and tangled weeds everywhere. The summer seems a little slower than other seasons with only the crops in the fields seeming to change scenery. I do enjoy a walk anywhere on a sunny dya with bird song in the air!

I like the summer during the day for messing about, fishing etc but prefer winter nights where the heat of the fire is much appreciated and you can be warm and snug knowing that it's silly temperatures outside. Heaven lol

autumn or winter for me autumn because the days are still warm, most of the wild fruits (early autumn) and nuts are ripe, and winter because the only thing better than a bright sunny summer morning is a bright sunny winter morning
