Family bimble, coffee and new backpack

Three of us (me, wifey and number 2 offspring) were all off today so we too little one on a trip to try her new bike.... a perfect excuse for daddy to try out his latest ebay "knackered old rucksack" 😉 and home made walking stick. A lovely gentle 2hr bimble, coffee and snacks then back to the homestead for lunch.

I cant find any marks or labels, its a frame similar to the m39 but with the three external pockets, one inside the main pack and another one in the lid. its bigger than the m39 and there are two sets of buckles for the main straps to allow you to fill it right to the top and still secure it. Some wear to the leather , nothing serious, and the canvas is grubby but its surprisingly roomy and comfortable. ill take some more pics later if you want.
