dont post very often at all but i just wanted to show what i did to my fallkniven f1 zytel sheath. in my opinion its not the best looking of sheaths so i decided to change it up a little. firstly i bought a maxpedition single sheath and a bycycle inner tube. i cut a sleeve from the inner tube to put over the whole sheath to give the maxped pouch a little more to grip when attached. not very complicated. i hope you enjoy the pics.
as well as the contents you can see there is a band of innertube on the top velcro strap of the pouch and a piece of paracord going through the bottom loop of the sheath and the leg tie holes of the sheath for added security.
one modification i will add is to put another piece of innertube round the sheath under the pouch to create a pocket for some fishing hooks and line.
quite a simple project but i hope you like it
