I asked the same question some time ago. Problem is, I can't remember the answer. I've checked on here and can't find the thread, so I'll see if it was on BB.

thanks very much mate. Im asking because I went out for a wee walk up the woods yesterday and lost my DC3! So im thinking of making a cheap replacement for when im out and about, I've got a terrible habit of losing bits and pieces like this.

Right, apparently the diamond side is 25 microns which is about 800 grit. The ceramic side is about 7-9 microns 2000 - 3000 grit.
