It's the factory grind, Red (Sorry ) Thought I'd keep it that way for now - 'a sabre-toothed tiger in sheep's clothing' to paraphrase the well known saying. The wood is stabilised rowan, by the way.

It was delivered today. It fits my hand like no other knife I own. The handle gives pure sensory pleasure to the touch. The form has a robust elegance that I didn’t dare hope for. Now that the project is concluded I think that the protracted design phase was worth ever minute.

I think you’ve achieved something close to perfection, Shinken.
