Falkniven?

Hello, I was quoted I believe?

I still think fällkniven is overpriced rubbish. I have handled them quite a few times, and would never ever pay that price for what they are. There are loads of better knives out there for that price.

And you know what? It doesn't matter what knife you have. Not now, not in a theoretical survival situation, not on any course! It will never ever matter. You will never be as sharp as your knife. This all a hobby, you can be equally as happy with a ****ty carpenters mora as you could be with a fällkniven. It doesn't stand or fall with the knife, it's all about the user. Happiness comes from the inside people, don't forget that. Just get out there and do what really makes you happy, hopefully that won't be contemplating knife choice or edge angles.

Härja Härja!

I have an F1 and an A2, I keep them because they can take heavy use!
I had to hone my sharpening skills though.

PREPER...... :)

P.S. I love my Moras too.

G'day Big_Swede

I still think fällkniven is overpriced rubbish.

What any individual is prepared to pay for any product / service is entirely up to the individual.

However, I strongly disagree with Fallkniven being described as rubbish

After using several different models, yes actually using them, for several years in a range of outdoor locations including coastal, tropical, alpine and semi arid inland areas and in a range of activities (hunting, fishing and bushcraft), IMO they are exactly the opposite.

Whilst you are entitled to your opinion, your experience with Fallknivens does not mirror mine :D

Kind regards
Mick

Given all this talk of prices, I should add that my F1 cost me £60 and my u1 cost me £80 - some time ago. Now these knives are much more expensive!

Thanks guys, good to know both sides of the coin. (thanks big sweede for negative aspects) I think ill probably get one, as am fed up of going through a knofe a year, and am too scared to use the ones i made!

Love

I’ve been using a S1 for about a year now, and I love it. With some minor modifications, it has become my favorite knife.

As some people have said, a knife a personal choice. The only way to be sure if it will feel right to you is to use one.
