I went to the woods today for a few hours and took my old Estwing axe for a change (usually use a GB SFA or a Coldsteel Trail hawk), Started splitting down some Ash and realised the axe was awful! I used to love the axe years ago but now after 10 years using a Gransfors I was quite shocked, anyone else had a similar experience with an old friend 'so to speak'.
