Eley Diary 2010

Just a quick heads up - the 2010 Eley Diary is available, either online or at your local shooting/tackle shop.

These days a lot of diaries don't include the moonstate, probably assuming most folks aren't interested. Eley go one better and also include rise/set times for sun and moon.

Also masses of info on ballistics, game seasons, the law, safety, etc which I admit is mainly for the sportsman but is still good background knowledge for the non-shooting countryman or woman.

Hi Doc,

Is the moon sun rise set times adjusted for GMT, I have seen allot of diarys but being american based they arent adjusted?

Sun/moon set/rise times are in BST during summer months and GMT in the winter.

I think they are calculated for London so there is a bit of error for me here in Scotland. At the solstices they are correct everywhere though, and the error is greatest on the longest and shortest day.
