There are some fantastic fungi starting to come into season - now is the time to get out and about as this window of opportunity does not last long.
I picked these this morning and had the field mushrooms for breakfast. I fried them up with soy sauce in an old pan that I have buried in the woods just for occasions like this. I guess I'll be having the rest for dinner !
