OK sorry in advance but . . .
I thought I'd have a go at making a Puukko knife from a kit (Karesuando), I've filed the tang to allow the bolster to go almost to the blade (allowing enough room left to tap the bolster down to make a tight fit) and alls well, but (and heres the probable dumb question)
which way does the bolster fit?
You see the bolster has a flatter side and a slightly concave side so would I be correct in having the concave side facing up the tang and away from the blade.
Daft question I know but the instructions don't mention it and It's best to be sure.
Any advice would be welcome.
