Hi all,
Ive been making a few things lately, mainly knives and leather work.i’ve made this drop down pouch out of leather and waxed cotton canvas.Ideal for foraging, tinder collection maybe a catty ammo pouch, water bottle holder or even as a beer can holder, choice is yours really.I was thinking about selling them and wanted to gauge interest of you folk.I was think of making and selling them for £40.not sure of postage and packaging costs and payment costs but will look into it if folk are interested.
Cheers Andy.

It seems like a fair price. My only comment though is that it's often easier to detach a full pouch from your belt using a clip or poppers than to take your belt off to remove it, especially if you've got other things on your belt as well.

That would actually be a great idea if spare bags were available. You could remove a full one and just pop a fresh one in. I don't think I've seen anything like that for sale.

Very nice is that. I have a much less classy ex army job that’s really handy for gathering chestnuts, sloes etc. It has a couple of straps and pop studs to attach it which means its easy to detach and empty, or just pick into with it in your hand rather than reaching down to your belt all the time, so definitely go for the poppers idea.

While I’m on, where do you get your leather cord? Googling leather thong turns up a few dodgy results, but I need a couple of metres of decent and strong stuff to fix the shoulder straps of a sheepskin bag that my wife loves.
