In the Mountains
I recently discovered a nice area along a river near me which is good to have fires on . So I decided I would head down there again today for a lunch time brew and cook up.

When I got there is was quite hot and I did not really feel like drinking coffee or eating hot food, so instead I went for a little explore . I had to cross the river a few times to make any distance but that was good fun.

I found a good deep pool and could see a few brown trout in there (I have marked this on my map) . In the end I just ended up sitting down there read a book and watched the pool to see the trout rising . Was a good relaxing time

Here be a few photos to share

I had to cross the river a few times as it wound its way along the valley, I ended up knee deep on a couple crossings so filled my boots

This is where I watched the trout rising

Very nice mate, love the colours in the glacial pools

Just packing for a few days in the Lakes, yellow warnings from the Met Office for heavy rain and 50mph NW's, should be a good laugh
