Donating Bone marrow

Are any of you on the list? Have any of you donated even?

I'm on the list, and over Christmas was down to a final shortlist of 4-5 people for a donation match, but someone else turned out to be a better match than me. I was amost disappointed not to be chosen.

I've been on the list for about 20 years but never been contacted.

I've been on the list for about 20 odd years. I have been short listed twice but have never had that final call.

Like the others above, I have been on the list for many years but not been contacted to donate.

Due to a varied diet of pills I'm on now for a selection of chronic ailments, I have been taken off the blood donor list so presume off the marrow donor list too.

Still, I donated around 75 times so I feel I've done my bit!

I have had two blood samples taken for a match but nothing further yet.
