That was a fun video!
A Gray Whale surfaced and swam past my kayak once. I had to back-paddle to make sure it didn't T-bone me. The whale may not have known I was there, but I will never forget the encounter.
If you liked that video, you may want to check out Episode 4 of "Earth a New Wild." It has some amazing footage and a frenetic shark birthing scene. I have also played midwife to a shark and it was crazy. But not as crazy as what the scientists in the episode faced.
