Nice morning walk with Meg the Jack Russell. Lots of deer about one being chased by a collie. Two hares were loping down the path, saw me and thought "we can get past fatty no problem" but when Meg appeared they cleared the stone dyke in one bound and were off. Another hare was lazing by a tree and can't have heard me as I approached but again once Meg was detected it was off like a rocket. Beautiful morning but had to scrape the ice of the car windscreen, it's the 28th of April!
