Got some old tread plate and cut it to size to make a collapsing stand. Works wel

i have a similar top support from backpacking light does the Trangia support slot in a similar way? good skills mate.

Slots in a very similar way. Sits about half way into Meths reservoir. The base stand was more an experiment. I rarely use it when I'm out. I was just seeing if it was possible to keep it on a surface and not scorch it. Although it does add stability!

ha! more than likely. i have been messing about with all sorts of trangia supports and windshields and that base would seem to be stable, ok polecat if i nick that idea?

Ofc you can. The hardest bit is the little slot in the middle! As I did it all by hand (and a lot of swearing) it took a bit of time to get right. I used a metal punch to get it out after 2 saw cuts.
