Deer Antler whistle and f/steel

Hi,

I wanted a f/steel and whistle to fit on to my neck knife cord but not the stander size one, so i pick up a scout size f/steel and some antler ends at the W/G this summer.
So i had a play with the bits and came up with these two.
The whistle as a brass tube inside (left over from knife making) and a bit of brass bar for the reed and a hard wood front , measures 2 1/2"
Fire steel as hard wood both ends and is 3" long

Please give me more details on the whistle.
I have made some but they are not working very well.
