Dave Budd blade, What handle material??

Blade is W2 with about a 4'' blade

I have lightly gone over the blades with sandpaper to bring the highlights out of the forged blade, the pics make the highlights look even lighter than they really are though

Wow, that's just... COOL!

I think a light-coloured handle would be nice, to contrast with the blade. Maybe bone?

Bone, antler or a dark wood, to emphasize the classic character of the blade.

I recently finished a damascus bladed with similar tones to yours.

Finished it with some curly birch and mosaic pins from brisa. very pleased with the result.

I was tempted to use some red deer antler I got - maybe next time

Err me actually. Thunderforged damascus from brisa, its a mix of 01 and 1035 carbon steel etched in battery acid.
