Darkening webbing

Has anyone successfully darkened tan webbing. I have some straps which I'm adding to my khaki sabercat. I would prefer them to blend better.

A bit of webbing of the right colour will cost you pence, and re-sew the buckles you already have; half an hour's work is all.
Dyeing Nylon or Polyester is not the easiest or the cheapest thing to do, and unless it involves heat and/or chemicals doesn't tend to come out well, AFAIK.............
