Dandelion and burdock beer

I'm curious - has anyone else tried making this? I made some using Roger Phillip's and Hugh Fearnley Wittingstall recipes (they're pretty much the same) and it was disgusting!

Not very clear and tasted a bit of iron rust and swamp water...maybe I did something wrong?

Not sure what you have done, but I made some Dandelion, Nettle and Burdock from Richard Mabey's "The New Age Herbalist" and I liked it - shame I didn't get around to making some more this year.
