I have had this at the back of my cupboard for years so it is time it moved on to a new home. I received this in a trade about 10 years ago I reckon and seem to remember that it was made by a recognised maker but can't remember who, and the blade has no makers mark so assume it's unbranded.
The blade is just over 80mm long and made from damascus steel in what might be a raindrop pattern. I can remember the correct nomenclature. The handle is, I think, stabilised curly birch with what may be stainless or nickel silver bolsters. There are a couple of spots of oxidation on the blade but these should be fixable.
The sheath is made out of lovely thick chocolate coloured leather, waxed and lightly polished. Unfortunately there is a cut on the back side where the blade must have caught the sheath at some point. This appears to have been glued closed.
The overall condition is good, the bolsters are lightly scratched as can be seen in the photos but a bit of a polish should get it looking good once again.
I would like £150 now £120 for this by PayPal or bank transfer including fees and postage. My work is a bit hit and miss at the minute so it could be a couple of days before I can get to the post office.
