D.I.Y. Buck Saw. Recycled from my kindling pile.

I had a light bulb moment earlier this evening. I was sorting through a pile of scrap wood at home to use for kindling for my woodburner.
I came across an old dismantled cot type bed made from pine and thought to myself that the bits looked like a bucksaw. I then got busy in my garage and 25 minutes later this is what I came out with.

The only sawing I had to do was the slits in the end to take the saw blade.
There were even captive bolts at the ends, I just opened the holes up behind to allow a threaded bolt (from the bits left over from my kitchen units) to pass through the blade.

The cross bar has dowels and I just drilled a couple of holes in the upright sections, the shape was already there.

The saw takes a 21" blade and I can't believe everything fitted first time, I tested it on some 4" logs and it works really well.

thanks for looking.
