tomorrow i MAY be able to get my hands on a coo wrapper and was hoping for some advice on methods for curing said skin.
i live in a flat so simples would be the key.
thanking you all in advance.

You need the services of a tannery if you have a cow hide and want leather. Google "making veg tanned leather" and you'll see it is a long, smelly and very messy process. The best you could hope for with a fresh skin in a domestic situation is to make rawhide. It is customary to cut it straight down the middle and do two separate halves.
