Course recommendation

Hi all,

I've just come off the BCUK Wild Food course run by Bushcraft Expeditions and all I can say is that it was superb.

The instructors clearly know their stuff, the camp is well setup, and each day was fascinating and paced just right. Female friendly too, my girlfriend also loved it and it was the first time she had ever done anything like it - and now I can't live it down that she caught more fish than me!

I am now just working out when I can fit in going on another course with them - the tracking one in October looks very tempting.

How much did the course cost you?

About £250 if I remember correctly. It was a 5 day course specific to BCUK. I think they do their own courses as well which cost more but are 7 days and have a better staff to student ratio.

Ah so you get your moneys worth then. Cheers for the tip off, I might look into something like this to learn some core skills.
