Well done. Its a fold bar, the pointy end makes holes for the posts, the flat bar is used as a hammer. When the fold (made out of hurdles) needs to be moved they can be lifted with the claw end. its local name is a gablick.

I'll happily stick more up if the Mods & Tony don't mind. I bet Pete (Ogri) and Mary (Toddy) and Mark (Buckshot) all have some unusual old equipment and artefacts about the place as a result of their lifestyles
