cooking weeds

Hi all
has anyone got the book "cooking weeds" by vivien weise a friend of mine gave me the book today and she also cooked the elderflower cake and brought it into work.what a lovley tasting cake made my mouth water but not all staff enjoyed it like me some had to spit shame

Haven't aquired it yet, but I'm hoping to.

Wild foods aren't for everyone but I'm willing to bet that some of the spitting went on after they'd found out what it was made of?

Some people can be very suspicious and closed minded about things that haven't come off a supermarket shelf shrinkwrapped. Sad really.

Still, it's their loss!
