I ordered the new Condor Bushlore and it arrived today. Alas it was the old version and I have sent it straight back hopefully get the new 2011 version re turned soon.

Heinne Haynes, I even rang up and the guy said we only sell the latest model. Was a bit miffed when old model arrived.
Sorry to bring up an old thread Geodie but how is the knife? I have fallen in love with on Hennies and I gotta have it lol!!!
Also how can you tell its the 2011 model?

Steve its a quality thick full tang very robust but for a few £s extra you can get this Boker which is much better http://www.heinnie.com/Bushcraft-Knife/p--8409
The old model condor had the grind short and quite far from the ricasso. The new model the ricasso goes all the way to the hilt of the handle. I have included a picture of the old condor you can see the grind stops well before the ricasso. I'm no expert on the terminology I think I have the words right.
