I cut 3 inch of mine. Still works great and certainly works well. Like I said earlier A didn't touch my Gransfers Scandi forest axe which easily beats the SFA! So I can easily believe your earlier quote of out chopping a SFA. They swing fast and easy. Only thing is not as good at splitting larger rounds.
