On the lookout for some coal fungus/daldenia concentrica.
Theres a fallen ash in the woods i found about 8 months ago. The funghi are still a dark brownish colour. I took a few in december and dried out to use as tinder but not much luck. How long do they take to mature and turn black to pick for use? Cant find any more anywhere!
