What do you prefer the Frosts clipper or the Mora training knife? Both are great knives at the price. I have a carbon training knife and a stainless clipper.

Personally, I favour the training knife. I like the sheath of the training knife more too and it is easy to carry it round your neck. The training knife is not "right or left handed" like the clipper - so its easier to put back into its sheath

Left or right handed? a clipper? I'm a leftie and its never felt anything but a safe secure grip to me. The carbon bladed tradesman on the other hand is a smooth slippery plastic needing a big moulded guard. It's better now i've covered the handle with a piece of inner tube but I don't trust it for real heavy work like I will the clipper.
Dave.

Sorry, I dident make myself clear.
You can put the training knife back in the sheath without paying attention to wheither it is left or right. The clipper handle and sheath are so designed that it wont fit if you put it in the the wrong way.

I see. The sheath on my tradesman while different from a clipper is again a right-hand entry only not as secure either. I like that reasuring "click" as a clipper locks in.
Dave.
