Don't think I've seen a thread on this yet but might have just missed it....

Any recommendations for books available in the UK to go on this years letter to Santa?

I have a number of bushcrafty books but always interested in reading more round the subject. I do prefer it when someone can actually vouch for the contents though as there are some duds out there.

As a first from me - anyone got The Forager Handbook?

and then another of Sea foraging from the River Cottage bunch.

Check out Keith Foskett's books. He's published a few books in recent years from his travels on the three major hikes in America (Pacific Crest Trail, Continental Divide & Appalachian Trail). I recently read 'The Last Englishman', which was his account of his journey along the Pacific Crest Trail. I thoroughly enjoyed his style of writing as it was both insightful, honest and humorous. It has genuinely inspired me to do one of the UK national trails.
