hello all 1st post advice needed got a watch for xmas shows tide time moon needs setting to longitude etc help please.

Hello chjo and welcome!

You can use Google Earth to find your latitude and longtitude. Hover your cursor over your house and the lat/long will be displayed on the bottom centre of the screen.

Follow the instructions for the watch to get that data entered and you should be good to go :)

Or you can wait till tonight, if it's a clear sky,
Then go out and measure the angle to Polaris from the horizon - should be very close to your latitude.

Oh, and welcome aboard!
