Chilly scouting camp (pic heavy)

I was out last night with the Scouts, It was a great evening, the Scouts are out again tonight but I had to leave at lunchtime today. As there where a good few leaders I thought I would give some of my kit a good try out.

As there was around 10 kids up there we needed a good base camp

And of course it had to be centrally heated

There was a range of accommodation

Though the tougher amongst us used our tarps

We finally made it to bed at around 3am (it was -5c at this point)

And I took this opportunity to test my bedroll (thread about that can be found on here)

Things looked less organised in the morning

Here are a few frosty shots of camp

I also took the opportunity to build a Finnish candle to see how it worked

And now the obligatory kit pictures

It was great fun and great to try out some of my newish kit
