Cherry burr shot/espresso cup

I was helping a friend cut up some cherry that had blown over and noticed a small burr.

The outside carved beautifully but the inside seemed to have a branch joint that was very hard. After a slow scooping out start all went well.

Leaving to dry outside and didn't boil in salty water as this has given me mould problems the last couple of times.
