Cheap demijohns?

Evening All
following my sucess with sloe beverages this year i have plans for an assortment of interesting drinks next year.
however i only have one demijohn which i got from future father in law so i was wondering where i could lay my grubby mitts on about half a dozen reasonably cheap.
any suggestions?

Your local Car Boot sale will be a great source, sadly not many on this time of year.

I regularly see demijohns at my local recycling centre and have bought at least 10 over the past year at 50p each.

Ask in charity shops - 50p each is standard - I give a generous whole pound for nice ones

i see some in tesco for £5-6 ok price...............

wilkinsons is where i've seen em to. also try asda they're doing 2l westons in demi johns. drink the cider and you've got a good demi john ready for use

Freecycle/Freegle can be a good free source of them.
Just ask.

I'll second the charity shops.
I have four, and they all came from charity shops.

go to your local home brew shop, they normally have a few knocking about, secondhand ones go for a £1 or so,

5 litre Mineral water bottles can make great demijohns, cut whole in top for airlock and sorted!

i use the 5 litre water bottles also just put cling film on top then screw the cap on .
