This is the knife that I made for Kimbo as a special order.
It is made from 3mm 01 tool steel, red VF liners and African blackwood scales held by pins and a lanyard tube. The cutting edge is about 95mm long. The matching firesteel is handled with the same wood (4 parts for strength).
The sheath is 3mm veg tan leather, wetmolded and hand-stitched with a firesteel loop. The contour of the sheath matches the contour of the firesteel so they have a nice firm friction fit (I would probably still loop the lanyard over the top though )
I also made him a matching double-dangler lapplander pouch.
I have charged him £120 for the lot, which will be paid directly to the charity here:

If anyone thinks I am being overly generous with my time, please feel free to offer your appreciation by digging deep and making a donation through the link above !
All donations will be hugely appreciated in helping me reach my target of £500.
