Phone apps have become popular in towns and cities. I can imagine crack teams just blatting through any prize incentive competition. Even destroying clues when fond. The majority of people will cheat using internet, google, GPS. Whats more, if it did become a viable project, there's no way that you could secure/patent it and it would be soon taken up by corporate bodies offering bigger rewards. Again legal issues where players maybe falsely led by sabotaging participants to enter,climb, damage or trespass, could leave the organizers in deep water and sued for compensation. Public/participant Trust is another issue. If you need to raise funding for a charity. Then contract to that charity to front the game/competition and receive a commission for delivery. Whats to stop you tipping your mate off as to the location and information to win. There are so many issues to consider. If money is the incentive, crack teams will monopolize the competition. Unfair play will dominate.
