carving axes

this has been a plan of mine some time ago, i wanted a carving axe that is affordable and usable.

i am no blacksmith so couldn't forge my own axe but the greman rhineland pattern axes come really close to my ideal shape of a axe head.
i bought a bunch of blanks, the first set was 6 pieces, i did grind the edge and sharpened them.
the handle is completely my design and i carved them from an ash board.
it is small start but it is a start.

Thanks, i am really proud of the handles as they are fully hand carved and identical as much as they could be.
