Carved spreaders

Hi folks, been making a few wooden spreaders (great indoor project when rain stops play) I've done a blog post about them and am looking for some feedback please.

Look great. The 2nd from the top on the left looks like it would be very comfortable and functional to use. How do you put your initials and designs on them - pyrography?

Some of the initials are with a pyrography iron, the rest is kolrossing.

I tend to make mine like the two top ones

On the other hand one man I know makes them like on this page.
