Carrying the firesteel

to hold a fire steel cut a section out of an old bike inner tube and slide it over the sheath.

I have figured it.......all you need is.....

Araldite (strong super glue)
Leather strips
Cord

Make a tube that the firesteel fits into, then glue this. Add a loop to the tube to hang off your pouch. When dry, simple thread some cord through the loop, and hang it onto your pouch. If the hanging irritates you, then just glue the tube onto your sheath.
