Canvas pack

Hi Guys,

I'm itching to try my hand at making a canvas pack, something like a frost river. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a place to get heavy weight canvas, preferably waxed, but not essential.

Only place I've found so far requires a massive minimum order.

Try a car boot sale and pick up an old tent. I'm cutting up an old frame tent for a load of projects at the mo.

Thanks for the suggestion and for the link. That might be a good option, I might just have to go ahead with this project now.

Looks like when the postage on the tent is added on I'm half way to a frost river pack, so I might contact frost river and see can they do a little alteration on one of their models for me. It seems it will work out cheaper in the long run.
