Whenever I go on a canoe camp I always have a bag with tent, sleeping bag etc like everyone else but I also have a fjallraven 20 litre rucksack with gear for the trip.
In the kit I have:
14cm zebra billy tin.
Jack pyke oak mesh field vest.
Aclima warmwool hooded sweater (base layer).
Fjallraven Greenland pro trousers.
Harilka wool hat.
Sealskinz all season gloves.
Pinewood Lyon shirt.
Gransfors Bruks small forest axe.
Wolverine folding saw.
Bannock kit in leather pouch.
Leather tinder pouch and tinder.
30 foot of paracord.
Catapult and ammo.
Puukko knife and sheath.
Fishing kit.
Mushrooms and toadstools book.
Food for free foraging book.
Notepad and pen.
Tea and coffee.
Titanium spork.
Adventure Medical Kits heatsheets emergency bivvy.
Rabbit purse nets.
Light My Fire sweedish firesteel.
Swiss Army ranger.
Gransfors Bruks axe sharpening stone.
Flint and steel kit.5 snares and spare wire.
Netting needle (I carved ).
Kuksa (I didn't carve).
Folding "ghille" knife.
Whistle.
Compass.
Tick remover tweezers.
Uco 9 hour candle.
Ben Orford spoon knife.
Telescopic fire toasting fork.
Torch.
I know this is quite a lot of kit but it is for me and my dad on a 3 to 4 day trip. I would be interested to hear other people's opinion of how much I take. As it does include spare clothes and fits into a 20 litre rucksack it isn't very big but is quite heavy.
Thanks for reading!
