Camping in Japan - advice needed please

  • Come along to the amazing Summer Moot (21st July - 2nd August), a festival of bushcrafting and camping in a beautiful woodland PLEASE CLICK HERE for more information.
According to Basil Chamberlain `Things Japanese` of 1902, Japan is wetter than England, but has more fine days. The best season is autumn. Spring can be wet and misty. The climate is damp. (something to think about when camping.)

Dont forget thaat the current running though the sea of Japan is a cold one, so that side of the country is colder than the Tokyo side, served by a warm current (Think like the Gulf Stream in this country.)

He says you will sleep though your long awaited first earthquake.

Im sure not a lot has changed in a 110 years.

Tengu (Who has no interest in going to Japan at all.)
