Gotlt my eye on a Tent thatis only available in olive. To make it stealthy i'm wondering if it's practical to 'paint' an olive single skin nylon tent multicam. Anybody successfully done this

That would only be somewhat effective on the visible spectrum not NIR or FIR.
Painting it will affect the weight & flexibility & some paints may damage the fabric.
Throwing camouflage netting or tarp over it would be far more practical & versatile.

Park it behind a bush, job jobbed.
I generally find olive green to be at the acceptable end of the cammo spectrum.
It's subdued but not full on Walt colours so you don't look like a TA wanabee.

Olive isn't a bad colour for blending in. It's more the shape that will give you away. So pitching behind bushes and other natural features is better than painting it. As lean an mean says, it will make the tent heavier and stiffer so packing it away could become a hassle. Unless you get the pattern right it could even stand out more so.
If you are after a cammo tent, try looking at the dd multicam tents. Very lightweight and good cammo pattern for most scenarios. I use the dd multi cam tarp for my hammock, and it's very pleasant to sleep under. I have the multicam pyramid tent too. Not a winter tent in my opinion, but lightweight and easy to pitch with the choice of trekking pole or suspension from a branch or tripod, which gives more options for further camouflage if wanted.

In seeing more and more in the bushcraft setting is the tent set up under a tarp. If you get a cheap multicam/Mtp tarp and put a tent underneath and you get the camoflage effect as well as a dry tent to put away and a dry awning area.
I've done a lot of the "tarp over the tent" camping. Really nice to have a lot of outdoor living space beyond the confines of the tent. Use two or more tarps for the truly "homeless" camp appearance.
Olive blends very well into green or brown natural surroundings. You need to hide such a big thing behind a bush anyway and then it doesn't matter.
Shadows of branches will also draw a camouflage pattern onto a plain olive tent.
There are several real military tents on the market though used or new. But in my experience especially on grass plain olive is indeed the best. Together with the current Italian camouflage perhaps.

Yea me to. My tarp is double the foot print of my single man tent so it makes for a nice dry admin area to sort stuff in etc. I wasn’t convinced at first as it’s more ‘stuff’ to carry but the benefits outweigh that tbh
Every summer, we used to camp in the Canadian Boreal forest, lake-side, in the Precambrian shield country (rock and water and forest). Us just a family of 4 and one Woods 9x12 canvas tent. Fair sized power boat, a lot of fishing, maybe a little water skiing if not too cold. Different lake every summer.
The tent alone was a tight fit for 4 people in the rain. Adding lots of tarp shelter out the front of the tent made for a really pleasant "bush craft" kind of 14 day trip.

I think the Lightfighter is the right choice for you. In your position I would search for a way to get it. At first I would write to the maker.
Another option is Tipik, that's a French custom tent maker who specialises in lightweight tents. In this case you just need to find the fabric.
