Cambrian Survival Course

Hi Guys

Ive just donr a weekend course down at Aberystwth run by mike at Cambrian survival.This was my first course so i cant compare it with another,i enjoyed the course very much and have come away with new skills.The overall value was excellent,for me the best bit was building a shelter,the rest of the course was very good and i found that stuff that i knew a bit of was rounded off by adding to that knowledge,saturday nights trout cooked on an open fire using hazel branches was the best bit of trout that ive tasted in years.

i got a woodland ways one for crimbo from the wife , im gonna book it next week for the summer. cant wait.

I reviewed the course many years ago for one of the magazines I write for and met another BCUK member on it - who has become one of my longest suffering friends!
I realy enjoyed the cakes and soup - but how many of your roasted eggs survived?
The sauna at the end was great - but the river mighty cold!
